Women have always consulted each other. Now you can find what they've already learned.
When a woman is trying to understand what's happening to her, she often starts with other women. What did they feel? What did they try? What was different? Lumina collects these conversations and organizes them so they can be found again.
Lumina didn't create this knowledge. Women did.
Important conversations disappear inside groups, chats, and threads. On Lumina you can search what women have already written, see what's shared and what differs, and continue the conversation in a community.
How Lumina began
Lumina began with the personal experience of Yael, Lumina's founder. For years she received diagnoses that didn't explain what she was feeling in her own body. It was conversations with other women — women describing exactly the same sensations — that helped her connect the dots, until she was diagnosed with endometriosis.
Later, going through a medical procedure on her own, it was again women in groups who gave her the practical help she was looking for — what to bring, what to expect, how to cope. In that moment something crystallized: this knowledge exists, women have already written it — it simply gets lost inside threads and chats.
With a background of years in artificial intelligence and information security, Yael founded Lumina so that this experience would not disappear — a place where women's tribal wisdom is preserved, searchable, and keeps getting passed on.
