In Brief

Welcome to Lumina — a community app for women's health. By using the app, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep our community safe, respectful, and functional.

Who Can Use Lumina

This service is intended for users 16 and older. You'll be asked to confirm your age at signup.

Your Account

You choose a display name — no real name required. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. You may not transfer your account to anyone else.

Community Guidelines — What's Not Allowed on Lumina

Lumina is a safe space. We have zero tolerance for the following content:

❌ Hate speech, racism, discrimination based on race, religion, gender, nationality, ethnicity, or any other identity
❌ Harassment, threats, bullying or content intended to harm, shame, or intimidate another user
❌ Sexual harassment or sexual content of any kind
❌ Pornographic, nude, or sexually inappropriate content
❌ Content promoting or glorifying violence, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or other dangerous behaviors
❌ Sharing other users' personal information (real name, address, contact details) without their consent
❌ Impersonation of other users, doctors, or any official entity
❌ Medical advice presented as diagnosis or treatment — Lumina is a support community, not a substitute for a doctor
❌ Promotion of "miracle cures," dangerous treatments, or unsubstantiated healing claims
❌ Spam, advertising, misleading information, or unauthorized commercial content

Mental Health and Safety

If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or an eating disorder — we're here for you, but we're not a substitute for professional help.

Content You Create

Rights to content you upload remain yours. You grant us a license to display, distribute, edit, and process the content using AI — for the purpose of operating the service and generating community insights. You confirm you have the rights to content you upload.

Artificial Intelligence

Lumina uses AI to process community content — for moderation, search, and insight generation. By using the service, you consent to this processing.

What Happens If a User Violates the Rules

We reserve the right to remove violating content and block users who breach these terms, without prior notice. You can report content or users from within the app — we'll handle every report within 24 hours.

Limitation of Liability

Lumina is provided as-is. We are not liable for content posted by other users, medical decisions made based on app content, or technical issues.

Particularly important: Content in the app — including AI insights and community discussions — is for support only. Not a substitute for professional medical advice. For any medical decision, consult a qualified doctor or healthcare professional.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo.
