In Brief

Lumina is a community app for women's health. We collect what you share with us to operate the service and connect you to the community. We don't sell your data, share it with pharmaceutical companies, or require your real name.

What We Collect

  • Email address and date of birth (for age verification)
  • A display name you choose (we don't verify your identity)
  • Content you share in communities — posts, comments, messages
  • Images you choose to attach to posts
  • Basic usage data (how you navigate the app) and crash reports

We don't collect: your real name, GPS location, device contacts, advertising identifiers, or data from other health apps.

How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the service (login, posting in communities, search)
  • For content moderation (AI reviews every post before publication for harmful content)
  • To generate collective wisdom — AI analyzes community discussions to help other users find answers
  • To improve the product and provide support

AI — Important Disclosure

Lumina uses Anthropic's AI models to process community content — both for automated moderation and to generate insights that help other users. The content you share is transmitted for processing on US-based servers. We don't train AI models on your content, and we don't sell it to any commercial third party.

Our architecture is designed so your identity and your content are stored separately.

Minimum Age

This service is intended for users 16 and older.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
